DM/A is currently looking for qualified and motivated team members. We are seeking candidates for the following positions:
Project Manager
We are seeking a Landscape Architect or Professional Engineer (or candidate on track for licensure) with 5+ years of land development experience. The position involves managing projects from concept through construction, including design, permitting, and agency coordination, while leading internal staff and subconsultants. Qualified candidates must have a degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of land development and permitting processes is required, along with the ability to manage multiple projects, understanding of Civil 3D, and excellent communication skills.
CAD Technician
We are seeking qualified candidates for a full-time CAD Technician position. This role supports land development projects through the preparation and coordination of plan sets, including land development, stormwater management, subdivision, highway occupancy, and record plans. Responsibilities include creating 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Civil 3D, developing surfaces, corridors, and pipe networks, and assisting with horizontal and vertical design. The position also involves interpreting design data and collaborating with engineers and project managers to update drawings and ensure compliance with DM/A standards. Qualified candidates should have proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (one year preferred), a solid understanding of technical drafting principles, and the ability to read and interpret plan sets and engineering documents. Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills are essential. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field is required.
Geologist
We are seeking a geologist with experience in site assessment, karst studies, soils testing, infiltration testing, hydrogeologic studies, well siting studies, aquifer testing and analysis, and groundwater supply development and permitting. Qualified candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and provide superior client service. In addition, they must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Professional registration or ability to obtain within two years is preferred.
