Project Summary

The project consists of a variety of housing types and densities and combines the residential uses with commercial and public uses. The residential area of “the point” is composed of village homes, townhomes, duplex units, neighborhood and large neighborhood homes. The streetscape is composed of tree‐lined streets with parking and smaller alleys by which to access rear driveways. Public green spaces are incorporated into the streetscape.

The town center is focused around mixed use buildings which contain one floor of mixed use and three floors of apartments above. A city streetscape style is the basis for the design of the core area, mixed with public open spaces some of which overlook the on‐site pond. The proposed residential units would have views of water as well. Within the town center are two main plaza spaces which serve the residents, employees, and visitors.

Finally, the transition area between the town center and existing housing would consist of larger neighborhood homes primarily in the cottage and bungalow styles. These lots overlook mature trees or the pond.
