Location: Lancaster, PA
DM/A provided land planning services which included subdividing the property from Armstrong World Industries, interim utility designs to allow the flooring plant to operate during the demolition of 150 buildings on the subdivided property. DM/A provided land planning to rezone the property for ultimate submission and approval of the subdivision and land development of the brownfield site. The 43 acre project is designed to provide shovel ready sites for Lancaster General Hospital and Franklin & Marshall College. DM/A designed new streets and pedestrian facilities with a welcoming streetscape including street trees, crosswalks, lighting and pedestrian walkways. New utilities were designed for the entire development, including the separation of the combination sewer system to the limits of the project.
Project design included complete roadway, sewer, water and stormwater infrastructure and coordination with existing municipal infrastructure.
